When my emotions are high and I am super stressed out I realize that my thoughts aren’t always what they need to be. Instead of being annoyed, angry and fighting off feelings of resentment I need redirect my focus. Now before you judge me, walk a mile… no, spend one full day with my son. Hand full doesn’t even begin to express what’s going on up in here. Here are a few things I will remind myself of daily:
Happiness is Isaiah’s true nature. He deserves to be happy. I acknowledge that he is always doing his very best and that is enough. He has a right to feel safe and secure in this world and it is my job to provide such an environment. He deserves a happy life filled with love. He deserves to be treated with kindness. I recognize the good qualities he has. I chose to think good thoughts about him today. I am grateful for his life and all that we are experiencing and all that is to come. I release my fears and worries and look expectantly towards his future. He is full of potential and capable of meeting difficult milestones ahead of him. I allow him to be confident and brave. He has something special to offer the world. Every day and in every way he is getting better and better. He will experience good in his life, peace and kindness and comfort which begins with me. I will be a safe place for him to land. He has a mom who is focused on creating a wonderful, high quality life for him. He is complete and lacking nothing. His life is overflowing with abundance and joy. He will know that he is loved, cherished and safe at all times. He is the best thing in my life. He was deliberately created for a purpose and he will be all he is destined to be.
“Deliberately created” and blossoming on purpose.
Thanks for loving him Sissy. I know he is yours.
